Volunteer Appreciation & Awards Dinner Photography: USO Las Vegas USO Las Vegas contacted us to do their volunteer appreciation and awards dinner photography. USO Las Vegas is a local branch of the USO. They help our service members connect with their families at home when they deploy. The Las Vegas branch provides a sense of home away from home for the 32, 245 active duty troops, 4,760 National Guard, and their families located in Southern Nevada. They help troops and their families deal with deployment as well as those families that have lost their loved one in the military. This was to be an Awards Dinner to celebrate those that have made a difference for the USO Las Vegas branch. Non-Profit Event Photography: Thank God For Israel Night Thank God For Israel Night was on December 7, 2017. We were privileged to be able to do their non-profit event photography. This event was coordinated by the Jewish National Fund and the Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry which is a worldwide Christian Ministry. They work to spread the word about the Messiah and Israel while showing solidarity with the Jewish community. Featured guest speaker Tremayne Smith, Caravan for Democracy Mission Participant was there as well. Named one of the “40 under 40” by East Carolina University, he currently works as a full time assistant on Capitol Hill. The event was held at Southern Hills Baptist Church of Las Vegas located at 6425 West Pebble Road, Las Vegas, Nevada 89139. We get to do some truly rewarding work from time to time. Doing the gala photography in Las Vegas for the Walter Hoving Home is one of those times. Transforming lives for 49 years When drugs and alcohol shatter women's lives, the Walter Hoving Home is there.  In fact, the home has been transforming women's lives for over 49 years. The organizers asked us to do their Gala photography in Las Vegas for the second time.  We certainly said yes. The programs help women become free from addictions, and help women take control of their lives. To put it another way, the Walter Hoving Home makes an impact on society. We had deep satisfaction doing the Gala photography in Las Vegas for them.
